libgit2-glib-1.0-0 software package provides glib wrapper library around the libgit2 git access library, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgit2-glib-1.0-0
libgit2-glib-1.0-0 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgit2-glib-1.0-0 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgit2-glib-1.0-0 *
You will get with libgit2-glib-1.0-0 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
